I feel like this is being missed by most people, because of the VW fiasco. But when an automaker recalls 470k vehicles for engine replacements, that's a big deal in my book.

While certainly not as brand-damaging as the VW fiasco, this recall is still going to be hugely expensive for Hyundai.

you should see how many they have replaced (before the recall was announced)... im pretty sure the engine number has been superseded at least three times now, with no final/actual fix

"please make sure the customer understands that any interim repairs performed will not be considered a completion of recall campaign. once the campaign recall remedy is announced, the customer will have to come for final inspection and repair."

needless to say... all the employees are taking mandatory training for lemon laws and legal matters
