Hyundai overtook Honda?

Hyundai will rival Toyota one day - competition between the Koreans and Japanese is fierce. When the Japanese occupied Korea they were really nasty about how they treated the Koreans. The Koreans never forgot - their vengeance is deep and they're playing it out through business.
VW has some very ambitious plans as well. Keep an eye on Audi as well.
As for Honda, they have run on small growth for years. They aren't trying to be number 1. Yeah, they'll build something to compete against Toyota, and try to hold that market segment. But as a company, they're not on the fast track.

Guys, Honda itself is one massive organization. When Hyundai starts making my lawnmower or starts building first class motorcycles, than I'll be surprised.
I was gonna mention something about an F1 team, but....

^ Obviously as a whole Honda is far more than what meets the eye.
When it comes to cars they need to step up.
The inner HONDA the one rarely seen is just incredible and the future has a spot on the top for HONDA for a lot of different reasons.

I'd test drive a genesis if I were shopping for a V6 accord, TSX, or TL. Honda's definitely have their own feel...something unique, that really appeals to me.
Anyway, Honda is the worlds largest engine manufacturer. Does anyone know which division of Honda is the largest, brings in the most cash, brings in the most profit, brings in the highest percent ROI?

Well, if I ever need a lawnmower to commute to work, I guess Honda would be the choice, but as long as I'm driving cars, I think Hyundai is the way to go these days.
Anyway, Honda still makes cars (and excellent commuter cars), so you needn't worry. This thread was about how surprised I was that Hyundai jumped from 10th to being 5th largest in the world in one year. That's wow!
Edit: make that 13 years on the mower (not 10).

The same can be said for Hyundai - though the different operating units are no longer as tightly integrated as w/ Honda, they are the world's largest shipbuilder and have a variety of other business interests.
