Probably because the reason they don't impress you is because you haven't sat in one in five years, have never driven one, and make up points to justify your decision.
Probably the reason is there is nothing there to impress me? WTF, should I be impressed by a run-of-the-mill RWD V8 sedan? How revolutionary! Please :/
The only people impressed by that either never heard of a V8 sedan until a Korean company made one, or are merely impressed because deep down they think Hyundai makes crappy cars so one that might not be crappy impresses the hell out of them. Which one are you?
I'm not impressed because that's not the kind of car that impresses me no matter who makes it. Bite me if that's a problem for you.
Got low self-esteem or what?

I was surprised to discover after an auto show that the Genesis Coupe interior is even better than the 370Z interior.
If you want to compare the Genesis interior to a Nissan's, I'd compare it to a new Maxima, not their reduced-weight sports car who's interior doesn't have the same priorities that a "luxury" sedan would.

The Genesis Coupe is aimed more at the sports car market than the luxury market, so comparing to a 370Z, Mustang, RX-8, or even a Camaro would be perfectly valid.
Only the Genesis Sedan would be aimed at something like the new Maxima (which is quite nice, by the way).

I love Hyundai threads they seem to bring out the best in people.
I just LOL. You have one side that thinks that Hyundai is a gift from above, the other side thinks its crap. We go rounds and rounds about it on many threads and pages.
Hyundai has come a long way, but by no means is it better, it may be cheaper and a better value but its not a better car overall yet.
oh thats just what i think from being in and out of cars 5 days a week.

if by "fact-based rational argument" you mean "make things up about what other people think so there is something to argue about, even if we agree."
whatever. That failboat has been here all along.
