The reality of likely needing a vehicle that will accommodate my Newfoundland is sinking in, so my planned 335i will likely morph into a manual X3 sometime within the next 10 months. After that, the only thing I can think of being interested in is a direct-injected Boxster S (in addition to the X3) within the next 4-5 years. But, I have serious doubts about whether I'd want to spend $100K on cars for just me, regardless of whether or not I can "afford" it.
I've had a St. Bernard before, weighed 170. I would recommend something larger then an X3. I'm speaking from experience here.

08 viper (2 years probably what? 70k?)
The rest would go for track day crap. I already have a sedan and mini-van. The wife doesn't want any kind of SUV and neither do I so the mini-van would stay.

If I could find a Ford GT for under $100,000 in three years, I would get that. If not, a Porsche TT would do nicely or a Superformance Cobra.
