Loaded 911S. It would stink like leather. I'd get the X51 package. I think 381hp would be enough for me, I wouldn't need the turbo.

997TT or 997 GT3. If I was driving daily, I'd take the turbo. If it was a weekend-only car, I'd take the GT3.
TT if you don't track it. GT3 if you track it. BTW, I would say that 998S would also be a great choice. Unfortunately, they drop in value like most porsches and I see them dropping a higher % point when compared to TT or cabs.

BTW, I don't think you will see the price drop in a 997GT3 as you did with the 996GT3. The 996 is least liked 911 in recent history. Plus the 996GT3 is purely a track car. The combination of these factors leads to pure resale.

Ford GT for $100K in 3 years? Unlikely, since the production run is over. That would be my first choice. 996GT2 would be a close second.

I'd buy a 'vette and use the rest of the $$$ to pay down my mortgage.

$100,000 is too much to spend on cars.

Before throwing in my vote, I'd like to see what the new NSX V10 will look like.

Likewise. For some reason though I don't think the v10 NSX will be called an NSX or even resemble the original NSX. It will probably be a front-engine 2-door, possibly 2+2 seater (for Honda practicality), and look something like a Maserati. But it will be fast if it has 500hp. Did anyone notice that the s2000 replacement is gonna be called s800 by the way?

Looks like you're going to be ccorrect about that. Ford GTs seem to be holding their price at about $150K+

I see one Gallardo for sale for $120K so that's possible in 2-3 years to see some under $100K (?).

GT2 also for ~$130K with 2K miles so they should be going down in the next 2-3 years.
