Default how to tell when new model years will be released?

finally getting around to buying a new convertible for my wife-
a friend told her she should wait for the 2006 model (even though there really is not difference in the car) rather than pick up the 2005.
i have spent some time trying to find out when the 2006 bmw 330cic will be out, but have struck out-
anyone got ideas how to find this out?

It's going to be a long wait.. According to that bulletin, it's not going to appear for another two years.

Are you sure you want the first year production convertible?

From my experience, manufacturers figure out the bugs after the first year of the car being around.

Just for thought.

guess i did not do a good job of asking my question...

i want the old body, but the 06 model (i was told that the new body for the convertible would be an 07- maybe that is not correct??)

if the '06 is the same as the '05, i wanted to pick up the '06... if the '06 is the new body i will stick with the '05

that is the one i want to find out when the '06 old body will be available here... and i assume that is the question that ridgeway was answering-

daniel - the bimmerfest does not indicate which model year convertible will be spring '07- pretty strange that they would sell '05s in late '06!!
