List it on Auto Trader and Craigslist.
Also, this is just my own paranoia, but when it comes time to closing the deal, insist to the buyer that you go with them to their bank when they get the check. There's really no such thing as a cashier's check anymore. The only way you know the money is good is if you see the bank print the check with your own eyes. Trust no one!

Unless you live on an island I don't see how that can occur. I look nationwide for cars and the price differences aren't nearly that significant, usually it's within a 5% range. An absolutely mint 2002 with only 15k miles at best worth 20k. Thanks to the invention of air planes you'd have to be an idiot [not you specifically] to overpay thousands of dollars because you were too dumb to take an hour or two flight to pick the car up.
Unless you are looking at dealers who typically put a 20% markup and come down the price easily.
