Default How much for an 08 civic Si?

I asked this on a previous thread, but anyone know if Honda dealers are willing to deal at all on a new Si? And if so, how much does one think you can get one for?

For coupes you'll need to know somebody or get the right dealer, should not pay markup on one.
Sedans they'll deal on, a coworker of mine got his for the same price as an LX.

hmmm, I would think that the sedan would be more popular for buyers due to practicality. Even though it does make sense that it is a sportier car and it should only be two doored.

Any other opinions?

Lots of dealers are dealing (ie, selling at invoice) Si coupes and sedans, at least here in Texas. You should have no issue getting a good deal well below MSRP.

rioyellows2k on here is a Honda salesman - he can confirm this.

Man, I knew someone who paid $5k over MSRP for one. This pretty much confirms that he was an idiot. Well that and unsuccessfully running from the cops rather than getting pulled over for a speeding ticket...

Initially, many people paid over MSRP. The hype is over, though, and deals are readily available. Heck, you can buy at (or below) invoice in Texas and ship it up for under $700...

I know one dealer in California that can probably sell at or close to invoice. Contact Paul Ciardiello at Manly Honda - pciardiello@manlyauto.com or 707-478-1064. He's in Santa Rosa but that's still a lot closer than Texas. Tell him JonBoy sent you over. I've only talked to him online but he's pretty easy going. If you mention vtec.net, he'll probably be maybe more inclined to give a better deal (that's where I've talked to him). He's got a great reputation on there for helpfulness and good prices.
