Silver, have you sat in an Elise yet?

I went to Park Place Ltd. and sat in one. I consider myself very easy with the DD ability of cars, but I found the Elise to be impossible to DD in. Almost every aspect of it is smaller then the S2000 (Which is expected).

The interior is just way too ugly for me to stare at all day.

Some things I didn't know about the Elise... No power windows, No Cruise Control, and crappy halogens. Oh and no rear defogger for those crazy seattle nights.
Really? I read on elisetalk that the Elise is actually a bit roomier than the S. Also if you get the touring package you get all the ammenities you mentioned.

I would sell my S and probably a few fingers for an Elise. I was going to get one but it would mean that all my paychecks would go towards keeping the car. So the S will do for a few years . The is nothing like driving a mid-engine car, it's the most exhilerating driving experience. Ple no P/S just has a better feel...You actually have to DRIVE the car istead of the car carring where you need to go. One day I'll own on, just not yet.

There's a lot less room between driver and passenger in the Elise. But there's also a lot more room between door and either. So if you're on your own, the Elise actually has a good bit more room than the S2000.

Another differencce is there's much less distance between the seat and the floor, so your legs have much less bend at the knee.
