Default How many HP in this GT-R?

So can you calculate HP from acceleration force?

I was able to achieve according to the onboard computer, just slightly over 1g of acceleration with launch control and a solid G for quite awhile too. .

I assume you heard the news that the 480 was an understatement?

Ah time, ah well. We know weight but not time.

To make it work, you need to know the weight of the car and drive. Physics 101

F=MA

Edit: Well, not that easy, but you can find formulas out there to get the horsepower from this.

What about gearing? If I throw you off a cliff, you're going to accelerate at 9.8m/s IIRC.

Heck, a Dodge turbodiesel truck could generate over 1g of acceleration for a split second in 4wd, in the crawler 1st gear, with a redline clutch dump.

That was hilarious! A lot of truth to it though. Not everything is so cut and dry. Nissan obviously fibbed about something. Subaru and Audi are masters at AWD and have not seemed to master the alleged ''trickery'' the GT-R has. Sure the car is mindblowing fast but I'm not spending 100k on something that has nasty ride quality. I'd pick up an Lotus Exige for a weekend/track toy if I was into that stuff.

The GT-R is 70K. Even with markup, people have been getting them for no more than 5K over MSRP. It does not have "nasty ride quality". It's no stiffer than S2000.
