how to make a Scion FRS fast?
great starting point... light weight, sporty, etc.... 12.5:1 compression... blaaaaa.... can you swap in a STI 2.5L motor or a JDM 2.0L STI motor? I assume since these are so cheap that people will be bumping hp quickly.... 450hp with 2600lbs.... ya budddyyy!

There's a few turbo kits/super chargers in the works for the car already. The engine bay is pretty tight so it will be interesting to see how the kits are designed. I predict a lot of blown stock motors in the future

From what Ive read the engine bay has a quite a bit of room on top. I always assumed they would release the standard version and a turbo version later. Since Subaru puts a turbo on anything, i figure this would be the logical progression. Expecting pretty awesome things from this platform in the future.

I think subaru already has a turbo variant of the FA20 thiat has its own version of DI and puts out 296hp and will be offered in the legacy. I'm curious if this motor would be a bolton swap.
