Default How fast is the new Civic Si?

Just wondering how fast this car is. I really don't race and just ignore the wanna be race car drivers that constantly want to race when I am in the S. However, this evening I was in a rush to get where I was going and noticed a car on my rear so I switch over to the center lane and he follows right on my bumper. After a couple of minutes of his lights blinding me and him just being annoying I down shift and take off. I was already going about 80 when I did this. I pulled away and really wasn't racing just wanted to get away from him, but it seemed that his car was pretty quick. Don't know if it was stock or not but it was quick. Any ideas on performance of this vehicle?

I have an '02 Civic Si. It's pretty quick for what it is. The only cars I've really raced are an '87 Nissan 300ZX Turbo and a '93 Subaru Legacy Turbo with some mods. The 300Z was harder to beat, but I did win. The Subaru was no challenge. I only have exhaust and intake, header has yet to be installed, but these cars have a lot more potential in my mind than the B16 Si's did. There aren't many parts out, but the K-series motor is a potent one, and it sounds great.

Well, my Vibe GT could take a Civic Si, so that should tell you something.

If your car can't beat a V6 Mustang...

Slow as shit.

And beating a V6 Mustang is not an accomplishment. If you must say that you can beat a V6 Mustang, that means something itself.
