I have this used Yamaha R6 fairing that has factory decals or vinyl (I assume?) on the upper half of it, I need to remove it without damaging the paint so it will match my existing fairing set, is there a way to do it? I don't want to repaint the fairing because it will cost more than buying another used one on ebay.

Try a hair dryer first. That may soften the decals enough to peel them off. I've used "Goo Gone" to peel off smaller decals but those are some large areas.

Use a blow dryer. Start with a low heat setting - you can always increase the heat. Warm it up one small section at a time - it'll peal right off.

Like the others have said, hair dryer to soften the decal adhesive while you pull it off, followed by Goo-Gone to remove any left over adhesive. You may need to use some rubbing or polishing compound afterwards as the paint under the decals won't be faded like the rest.

Got it out with a heatgun, not as easy as I thought. But worked, thanks for help
