Default How to crash a Lamborghini Huracan

Check out this video of a Lamborghini Huracan crashing on a highway in Hungary while doing 330 km/h (205 miles per hour). It happened last September and amazingly both the driver and passenger got out of the car before it burned out.

Shows how safe supercars can be. I don't think the driver and passenger would survive a crash at 200MPH, in a Toyota Sienna.

That's crazy, I wonder what caused the crash? It seems like the car was airborne for a second or two before losing control. That or he veered off the road

The safety of these modern cars is absolutely remarkable.

I drove on that highway maybe a hundred times and there is a small 'bump' (a small repaired section) on the road which you barely notice at legal speeds but really throws the car up at the speeds these guys were doing.

You'd have to push a Sienna off a very tall cliff to get it to go 200 MPH.

Yeah that must be it. Best to drive on an unrestricted part of the German Autobahn instead. A little bit of a drive from Hungary though

You are right, in fact when last summer we drove to and from the Nurburgring, we almost had more fun on the Autobahn (the A9 between Nuremberg and Munich is particularly awesome, 4-5 lanes, straight, lots of cars doing 200+ km/h) than on the Nordschleife.

Very scary... and amazing they made it out alive from this. You can barely even tell it was a car from the wreckage.

Still wouldn't hit 200mph. Need more than gravity in this case.
