great. Ridgeline wins an award. Still does not negate the fact that it still looks like CRAP. ie- Aztek and Ridgeline are related.

I would have to agree. The Ridgeline is the ugliest pickup on sale at the moment. The interior is equally horrendous. I was actually thinking about getting a Ridgeline but after looking at one at my dealer and then sitting inside, I ran for the exit and bought an X3 instead....

Well, excuse me for the repost! Didn't see the other threads at the time. But still, Honda's sweep of honors should deserve several threads.

It shows you don't understand the appeal of a Civic.

High milage, high content, high resale in the category, rock solid reliability, low price. Small, cheap, clean, efficient. Each generation makes leaps forward over the last model which was usually a class leader.

Not too many other cars you can say that about except for maybe Accord's and Camry's.
No, I understand it's a good car. That doesn't correct it's odd looks and strange interior. That doesn't mean it doesn't drive well. It has a lot of things going for it. Looks isn't one of them.

The new Civic is very nice, I like it a lot.
The Ridgeline, on the other hand, is so fugly that I'm surprised it has not been redesigned.

Wait a minute! Honda is selling beyond its expectation for the 1st year. Let's look it this way, Honda and Toyota could poop a pile of poop and people will still buy it like hotcakes because it already has a rock-solid reputation.

I get your point. The point I was trying to make I guess was that the award should not be based on styling alone, just one of the factors involved.

Based on looks the Ridgeline is fugly IMHO but I guess there is not much of a new truck field this year anywho. BUt I just read someone comparing it to an Aztek. I would call it a 3/5's scale Avalanche which is the pimp daddy of hideous.
