Odd... I have always found it odd that people present you facts and you respond with your typical hating... baseless facts.
blah blah blah...
No offense (you know how this is going to go), but you are the guy who was claiming 150 (or something close to that) at PIR on the back stretch which is flat out impossible in an S2000. About 5 people, much more knowledgable then you chimed in about how crazy that was and you still wouldn't admit that you might have been mistaken. If anyone has trouble dealing in facts it's you. If you think the AWD system of the MDX is somehow equal to the a true 4X4 sytem in a specialized off-road jeep or a D90...you are out of your mind.

Motorweek just tested a Ridgeline and praised it a lot, on and off-road. Oh, it also has a trunk under the bed, a first for a truck; kinda like a secret compartment in an S, but only huge.

b0mbrman:

I just looked up the MSRP price of the Titan and options available. There's aren't really that many options for this truck, but base MSRP is around $23,000.

Nation wide rebates: $2000-$2500

If you can find a dealer that's having a discount on 1-2 Titans to lure people in, the savings would probably be around $1500-$2000.

If you know a recent college grad, they can probably give you $500 off.

$23,000 - $2,500 - $2000 - $500 = $18,000

That $18000 does not include tax and such, but it's the only way I can figure how you can buy a Titan for $18,000 without looking deeply into this subject. I'll see if i can find the sunday LA Times somewhere and see what some of the advertise deals are available near LA.

PS.

I forgot that it looks like the average APR for nissan is 1% for "up to" 60 months if you qualitied, but it's 3% for the 350z.

Has anyone on here accually seen a Ridgeline in person or driven one for that fact besides JLucas?

If not than how can anyone support their opinions? By numbers alone?

Had an opportunity to drive the Ridgline back to back with it's competitors, in the city, on the highway and with a 1,110 lb load in the bed.
It is going to make a few people here on this site eat their words.
It does what Honda intended it to do very well and will make a great alternative vehicle for those who do not need a full size truck but who need it's capabilities.
My .02 is that it is going to be a winner!

What? Too hard for you to understand?
"Joe Blow don't need to tow a fuggin house down the highway but has a utility trailer and a couple of off road bikes to take to the cottage."
For someone who takes such pains to come across as an intelligent entity, you sure fug it up when you open your mouth.....
For someone who purchased a Range Rover when a '76 Lada would have done the job just as well.........

How will one get the capabilities of a full-size pickup unless they own one?

Seriously, next time before you try to be all cool and run off at the mouth with the insults, try to ensure that you have not put your foot in your own mouth first.

Perhaps he should have said "those that need the capabilities of a full size truck without its size"... That's a little less questionable (but still questionable)...

I have a feeling Steve knows what you meant, he's just being himself again. Right, Steve?
