Okay, long story short, I bought a new '08 liquid silver R6 on saturday, and I already need to replace the headlight assembly and front fairing. Hard lesson learned, but I'm going to learn how to ride the right way and take MSF. The riding was fun until I wrecked, even after my mishap I'm still anxious to get back on and learn. It was a rookie mistake, a stupid one, but what can I do? It already happened. Luckily I have connections for parts, so it'll only cost me about a grand for everything all together. Coulda been a lot LOT worse.

Maybe I shoulda bought a rebel afterall (coping laugh )

I wish that's all it was .

All good though, I'll have it back up and running by next week.

I ran into a stopped van. *yikes*

Too much throttle...low-sided it right before i made impact. Damage doesn't seem too bad...Took the bike completely apart 2 nights ago...damages are around 800 actually with connections. Radiator LOOKS fine, I just think it leaked a little fluid from being on it's side. And front brake lines are leaking a little bit...but we think we can repair it.

All in all I need new clip-ons, front cowling, headlight assembly, rear foot peg, tachometer backing plate, and maybe levers.

BTW, I love your avatar, I wanted a Daytona 675, but I got an awesome deal on my bike. My buddy that's helping me out fix my bike is getting his 675 in August.

Ouch.
That's what I said when I took a shower and the water hit my road rash.

Well, good to get it out of the way. Now it's time to ride.
