Honda planning RSX revival? C-class sports coupe?

I think the RDX turbo 2.4L motor, boosted slightly, would make a great sports car motor. Problem is, I'm not sure fuel economy would justify using it since the corporate 3.5L V6 would put out roughly equal power and torque (with the curves different, of course, compared to the turbo motor) while probably reducing cost, improving reliability and access to parts.

From the looks of it, not really excited about the RSX. It all comes down to the engine, we need more revs, and hopefully they wont use the same engine in the new SI. I guess Honda has finally woken up (hopefully) in that they realize that enthusiast want sporty cars... not the cr-z -_- The only thing I am kind of excited about is the NSX successor, now average people can look up and admire a new Halo car for the brand. Only time will tell though, hopefully Honda doesn’t stray too far from its current dream.

2 cars ago I had an RSX Type-S. I had a Porsche 993 and now an '07 S2000. All I can think when reading this news about maybe something positive I am very let down, and am thinking is this what Honda is thinking??? How can no car mainstream company come out with a 250hp RWD somewhat light car???
If I had the money to start yet another company, I would create a company called 250 and build just that. Chapman is rolling over in his lightweight Lotus, and the Japanese following the stupidness of the American companies.

So it sounds like they're going to relaunch the RSX.. *yawn* Unless it's RWD, I don't see anything interesting/exciting about it. Also, it'll likely just use the same engine that's in the Si.. Honda wising up and putting a smaller displacement v6 w/ RWD in the new RSX seems highly unlikely.
The second part is interesting.. Honda is looking to make a cheaper compact class sporty coupe? Doesn't the Si fit that spot, or are they looking to come in at a lower price than the Si coupe? *sigh* Same old boring honda.

Yea, I'm biased, but oh well, deal with it
What I think Honda ought to do is just fix one of the models they already have in production
I'm sick and tired of hearing about what they might do in the future, I want to hear what they are going to do NOW to fix themselves
Stop wasting money, stop talking about the future, chit or get off the f'ing pot
Give this great looking car some balls, it only takes a little to make it look hotter than hot

And, now that I'm all pisssed off again, let me just add this
American Honda would not be in this crap situation if they had just been smart enough to give us this back in 2005
