Honda Pilot
Please move if this is the incorrect forum....Under the Hood seems S2000 specific.
I own a 2004 Pilot as my daily driver. I have a 60 mile round-trip to work each day and with a fill-up hitting $65.00 two times a week, I'm looking for a little relief.
Trade-in or private sale of the Pilot is not really an option. Resale prices are tanking as the gas prices go up.
I was wondering if the VCM technology can be achieved by 'simply' swapping/re-programming the current ECU? I assume VCM is an electronic solution, not mechanical. Since most of my commute is highway, I assume this woudl bring my MPG up.
Am I a complete idiot, or does this idea have any merit? Any thoughts would be appreciated.

VCM is both mechanical and electronic. No way to retrofit without spending WAY more money than you'd save in gas.
