honda guys do you miss your eg/ef/ek hatch?

I used to have civic si hatch and don't miss much about it. I've realized what I liked 10 years ago is not what I like today. Only car I miss is my fd rx7 cause just like the s2k it has a shape that never grows old.

I didn't have a civic growing up, but about 4 years ago I picked up a rusty 1992 Civic CX shell and fixed it up. Welded in new rear fenders and fixed the rest of the rust, put in new suspension and the stiffest roll bars from the integra and had an absolute hoot in it; all while getting 45mpg.
Unfortunately, while I was in London for grad school, Hurricane Sandy hit, and dropped a tree on it while it was in my parents driveway. I really miss that car and want another one badly!

I currently have a Civic and 2 Camrys. I've had tons of Civics, an Integra, and a Prelude. Personally I dont like hatches other than real deal EK9's. I'm more of a coupe fan, and I dont like base models. Even if I have a Civic, I want it to have power everything and be a coupe.
However when I started to have decent money I wanted to build my own FWD Honda ground up, I chose a Prelude. Build quality of a Prelude is a bit better than the other FWD Hondas, and no kid stigma like a Civic/Teg. Got rid of it to join the S2000 world.
Anyway the current Civic is a coupe, A/C intact. It's a 'side build' cheap things to get it where it is, and no pressure to build a beast since I have the S2000. It is tempting to throw a swap in it though. I'm not going full-tilt on one of these types of cars again.
And it has taken "work" to get this car where it's at. A lot of undoing ricer work. As detailed here:

And the Prelude. All top end parts, all comforts working.

I still have my '00 Civic Si. Bought it way back in 2002 and am torn about selling it since I got my S2000 a little over a year ago. It has no problems other than a slight vibration during acceleration because of the cheap AutoZone replacement axle. The original idea was it to be my DD but I'm driving the S more and more these days. The adult in me is telling me to sell it for something more practical while my boy racer side is telling me to boost it...I wonder which side will end up winning lol

I'd keep the Si and just continue maintaining it with reliability mods.
