I thought about it long and hard and decided to go the MR2 Spyder( $4-5.5k) route instead.... Basically a eg hatch with a B18 LS swap, (weight wise, add 100lbs for swap, but RWD)

Both come out to be about 2195lbs before weight reduction and roughly 140hp.

Theft is a non-issue with the Spyder.

I am going back and forth about K24a1/base RSX 5 speed swapping my 250k Em2 Civic or just pick up a 2000-02 WHITE Mr2 Spyder instead.

Terrible idea. i-6 are hard enough to come by in cars these days, and that motor is part of what makes the 70-78 gen so iconic. Plus they just sound so good.

You damn Honda hatch guys just want to rice everything up dont you!

Never owned a Honda-badged hatchback but my wife sometimes misses the Acura RSX-S; like yesterday for the shopping trip at Costco, needing to hitch up the trailer behind the S2000. it only take a couple of minutes to hitch or un-hitch, but we do have to make sure it's not going to rain during the shopping trip.

The rsx is another great car made by honda. The civics went down the hutter after 00. 01 to 05 and trans issues and something with the suspension. 06 and up have issues with cracked blocks. Im not sure about the newest ones.

I actually miss having a 92-95 hatch very badly. I have been looking to trade my low mileage 02 s2000 for a real deal eg6. I would trade in a heartbeat.
