+1, and guess what? They are selling cars. Their luxury line, Infiniti, is doing well also, comparatively. I can't count how many G's and M's are around here, and I'd consider both to be sporty luxury rides. Nissan does the GTR, now the 350Z? Honda has lost the plot. When was the last car Honda produced, that really stirred the soul of the enthusiast world? That's right the S2000, almost 10 years ago. That is a long damn time to go without a new performance-y model.

have fun driving your nissan to the dealership for recall work.
Time to get off the high horse and face the music:
Honda - No sports cars
Nissan - two nice sports cars, plus good Infiniti sports cars

This is where money will be spent.

Honda is a business. Making cars like the S2000, NSX, Integra Type-Rs, Civic Type-Rs are icing on their money cake.
The economic times are dire....and Honda has no interest in developing and then marketing a near 200k car (in this case the NSX) that is niche at best in a time when they are having trouble selling their bread and butter cars off the lot.
With the cancellation of the F1 program and now the NSX, Honda is essentially telling us the economic forecast calls for "TSHTF"

Oh, unlike all the TSB work we've had to get done for the S2000?

lets talk about altimas and sentra's. how many of the last gen altimas and sentra ser's had to get new engines because they weren't assembled correctly?
lets talk about titans and armadas. how many had to get all new brakes because nissan didn't design them correctly?
I can go on if you'd like me to.

Honda's sports cars:
S2000
Nothing else, and its 10 years old. Since Honda is cutting all its non econobox spending, I wonder how much longer S2000 production will continue.
