Am happy you are reading my posts at the Home page. Thanks.

The truth about prices in Europe, is that they are way to high in general. Compared to the rest of the world ie US and/or Japan you will be surprised with the prices on most European countries. Especially in our country, I bet we have the most expensive car market on brand new cars.

Just for reference, in Greece the price of the Honda Civic Type-R is with today's exchange rate as following (two versions):

31,000 Euro = 46,534.7 US Dollar
33,150 Euro = 49,762.1 US Dollar

As for the S2000, since 1999 the price was steady as following, without a hardtop. Only this year the S2000 was on sale at the same price with a hardtop:

50,000 Euro = 75,056.0 US Dollar

not that anyone cares (nor do I) but this car lapped the west circuit by 0.2 seconds slower than a Lotus Evora and a E90 M3. Well at least that's what Evo (or was it Car?) magazine said.

The current Type-R isn't worth the money, as Clarkson says. I don't see the Mugen version being much better.

The Jap spec Type R/Mugen RR looks to be a tad fast and better looking (IMO) than the UK spec.

PS the RR has 237hp and more torque than the S....plus hands the S it's behind on any track.
