Que up any Ferrari 355,360,430,458 video and you will hear what a flat plane crank v8 sounds like at 8k+ rpms. The Italia runs out to 9k

It will also likely eclipse the Hellcat's 707HP with relative ease. Ford recently trademarked 'Eco Beast' which will again likely be associated with the V8TT. I own a 2003 Cobra convertible and keep up with the SVT world. Ford is absolutely rocking it right now.
Wow, the GT is getting a turbo V6?! I expected it to get a "lesser" V8 (relative to the GT350). Things really are changing.

To clarify, he was referring to the Ford GT supercar, NOT the Mustang. The Mustang GT gets the 5.0L coyote engine, massaged to 435HP for 2015.

The GT350 and most FPC V8 Ferrari engines do NOT use balance shafts.

FPC does not = high RPM, although the lighter rotating assembly makes it rev quicker. The FPC improves intake and exhaust scavenging by not robbing or backing up flow, which improves the efficiency of the motor and makes more power. Most 5.0L Coyote owners raise their redlines to 8K with an aftermarket tune and the 5.0 is quite happy at that RPM.

Sorry, my bad. I was thinking the GT reference was in relation to the 'Ford GT', not Mustang GT.
