I also should mention that my situation with my 135i being a Lemon is rare and BMWNA made good on it. Gotta give them big props for that
You say that...but then you use this as your avatar:

Every car manufacturer has a LEMON...some more than others...but finding the one's who will own up to it is rare.

Why would he have? It's in a completely different price tier. You're talking about another $20-25k.

The avatar is just for a little sense of humor

I do mean what I say in that my 135i being a lemon is rare, at this point. The car is still very young so only time will tell.

My avatar is more to show that I had a BMW that was a lemon, not to say that all BMW's are sh!t.

I ended up buying the FX35 this last saturday as well. It is an 05' with sport package, touring package. I got a great deal on it.

The sport suspension is a little tight but so far I enjoy it. It will probably get a drop soon either way so I am sure it will be a rougher ride then it is now when I am done with it. It has the stock 20's on it and with a nice drop on those 20's the FX is sex

So far the Lex is great. I love everything about it so far except how quiet it is under WOT. For some that is a good thing but for me I like to hear the car

I can almost guarantee your experience with Lexus will be outstanding! I had a GS and the few times I had to visit the dealer it was awesome (FYI, none were because of problems).

My BMW experience however, became a bit of a chore, so much in fact that we had a new X5 4.8 on deck to replace our 4.4 and decided not to buy another one (it had been our 3rd BMW in about 8 or so years).

Love the IS, congrats!

The Lex does not have as much "soul" as the 135i did of course but the piece of mind I get with the Lex and their strong customer service and reliability is worth giving up some drivability

The Lex is still no slouch though for those wondering.
