Talking Here is what replaced the 135i

So for those that have not heard, my 135i was bought back from BMWNA because it was a Lemon. I loved that car so much and had the option to get another but with this being my first German car I was a little scared to get another one.

So I have replaced it with this: 2006 Lex IS350

I love the car so far. The interior is second to none in terms of lux. The driving experience is nice with the power it has but all the electronics do make it a little numb to drive.

Overall a great car for a DD. I have my first kid on the way so the four doors will come in handy. I got a great deal on this car since my buddy owns the dealership

Comments welcome

Ahhh....BZ!! Nice choice. My dad is a Bimmer guy too and picked up an 08 IS as a daily driver as well two months ago. He wanted to try something diff. He's liking it so far. I asked him if he'll be back in a bimmer. He said, highly possible!

The Blue STI would've been sweet!

But the IS350 isn't a bad option at all. My brother drives an 08, and I like it for what it is. Smooth power, nice interior finish, etc. I just wish the rear seat would fold down for some cargo flexibility!

I hear ya

I just picked up a 2006 WRX Wagon Limited for the winter duty so I didn't need another suby.

I will give you all my opinions on the Lex next week. The Lex is getting delivered to me tomorrow afternoon so give me a week

Good to hear that others have had good experiences with the IS

Thanks for the positive feedback.

I did love the 135i and I can honestly say that I don't believe there is another car near its price range that can touch it. The fit and finish was remarkable and that N54 powerplant is no joke. Nothing like full torque at 1400rpms

The 335i is a great car too but if you are like me, and I think most of us here that own or have owned the S are, you love a smaller lighter weight car. The driving dynamics, when it ran right , on the 135i are amazing.

I also should mention that my situation with my 135i being a Lemon is rare and BMWNA made good on it. Gotta give them big props for that

Not my kind of car at all and totally different than a 135 but if it makes you happy kudos.
