My wife's SUV is coming off lease in November. We are currently undecided over another SUV lease or the purchase or lease of a 'premium' certified sedan. We've leased 4 cars over the years and I am fairly confident I know both sides of the lease / purchase debate.

I am looking for some feedback on the 'Certified' car market. We would be looking at Mercedes Benz, BMW, Lexus, Acura, etc....

Does anybody have any experience with a certified used car that they would like to share? What are the +'s and -'s of leasing a certified used car? I have noted that these cars tend to have a higher price but assume the trade-off is a manufacturers warranty.

What should I know in order to make an informed decision? Any input is appreciated.
