The 3 series coupe comes out this year so my guess is that the vert will be 6 months behind the intro to the coupe.
I would def listen to what the other ppl said. Look at other cars before settling on the C class.

If you still want to get the C-class. Don't get the 05 unless you get a HUGE discount.
There are entirely new engines for the C-class starting with the C230. It comes standard with the 2.5 V6, sport package and 6-speed manual or opt 7-speed auto. There is no more C230 kompressor which had the supercharged I-4. 2006 C-class is much better than the 05. It offers a lot more car for basically the same price as the 2005 models.
No, I don't have a problem with the 7-speed auto hunting for gear.

Whatever C class you buy, always remember factory warranty and extended warranty are you best friend. I have a friend who owns a CL500 with factory warranty and the dealership literally spent $50,000+ in warranty jobs.

Yeah, from Rawalpindi. And I'm not exaggerating the CL500 is $130,000+ brand new, and my friend's CL was fully loaded, and they had to change almost every part of the electronics, suspension, seats, windows, etc.

Ohh that makes me want to buy a Benz. You pay that much for a car and the least you can expect is it to work all the time. Shows you German engineering is all marketing. I bet your friend likes to take it up the wazo?

Instead of getting missinformation from a bunch of people who don't know the first thing about Benz on this site why don't you do yourself a favor and go to:
