Help me pick a daily driver
So both cars I have bought I knew what I wanted going into my search. Now I am looking for a daily driver and I am a little lost. I am hoping some of you can give me some suggestions.
My requirements are:
~$3000 or less
Over 30 MPG
Dual Airbags
Reliable
Decent space
I don't mind buying a '95 or '96 as long as it is something like a Honda or Toyota or Mazda or something on that level of reliability. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Also, if you mention a make and model please try to suggest a range of model years I should look at.
Thanks.

best in show is a 92-95 5th gen civic-vx or cx but this will not meet your price limit because post iraq gas prices have driven its price >$4000. i have one tho. consider a Toyota of the same class.
honda had maybe 10 different types of civics 92-95. fun? honda peeps were buff in the mid 90's so its a Del Sole 4you. there were limits.
something getting 33mpg gives you alot of range, even more recent cars get that gas millage. to get a recent car you pay an extra $5000-10,000 for this type of performance. this defeats the purpose of a high gas millage vehicle. my guess your stuck in the mid 90's.

jah, I didnt totally follow, but you are saying a del sol? trouble is they a little small. I want something with at least an ok back seat. i will look into civics, but they hold their value really well.
i had a 94 protege as my first car and it was a great car. i may go that route.

consider a Corolla, old Toyota something.
you may have to compromise on the dual air bag option?
