Back seat for baby only. If I know I have to take passengers, I'd take the A6 or Pilot (we call it the Pirate). Hadn't thought of the Solar, might be OK, have to try one.

I'm in the exact boat as you. I reall don't want to part with my s2k but I have a baby on the way and last I checked you weren't allowed to store them in the trunk. I never thought I would like a convert this much so I would like to have a sport 4seat convert. I'm thinking of going with a used m3 convert as well.

When car shopping I originally had the Solara on my list but was very dissappointed when actually taking it out for a drive. The Solara is not a very fun car to drive, it has a mushy suspension, automatic transmission only, feels underpowered and a has Camry feel to it.

I think you would be much happier with a 3 Series or Audi. Personally, even though it's not a vert, if I needed a back seat I would go for the Infiniti G35 coupe. It rocks!

I just traded my 02 S2K in for an 05 G35C 6MT due to needing more space. I absolutely love it. Nice ride, great features, moooooreeee torque and horsepower, and luxury. Test drive one, you'll love it.

Hadn't thought of the Saab, good idea.

Heard lots of great things about the G35, maybe with a sunroof it'd be OK. Could sell the A6 use the G35 as daily driver. Hmm...

Still, the convertible is so nice on sunny spring days or warm summer nights.

330i vert, or A4 vert of new Mustang Gt vert. All three would be in the low 30's.
