Well seeing as how the Euros are sympathetic to the plight of the suicide bombers, erm, I mean freedom fighters, or um, dissidents, I am sure this advert will be a big hit over there.

I found that very funny. I get sick of how "offended" people get here in America. It seems like they are just looking for anything that could possibly hurt someones feelings whether or not if its their own.

Is this video really from VW? I don't think a major manufacture would be stupid or bold enough to create this kind of a commercial. But then again, I don't know much about the Europeans' mentality. Here in America, they wouldn't dare to show that commercial.

If they aired that comercial here in the US I'd go buy one on the spot just to support them, probably sell it the next day since I don't like VW's though

Please bring that commercial over here! I'd love to see the public get rowdy. VW wouldn't have the balls to even THINK of bringing it over here, much less actually do it. That's what I love about America. We don't stand for bullshit!

Ad agency created that, VW wanted it killed, but it escaped to the Internet.

that is what ford said too. i don't buy it. It's covert marketing from the manufacturer. If their is an uproard they deny it was them.
