Default Has anyone experienced a 'dry clutch release fork'?

When I push my clutch all the way in, and start to release it, the first inch of releasing the clutch sorta sticks just a little. It also makes a slight low squeeking noise.
Aside from that, everything works fine and smooth, its just a little annoying.
I called my honda dealership service manager and he said it was a dry clutch release fork, and would cost around $80 to fix it. He said it was a couple hours to do.
Has anyone else had this problem, and what exactly does it take to fix it?
thanks guys

Aaron

The point where the release fork pivots on a ball needs to be greased. The clutch slave needs to be removed. This is something you could do yourself.

Call Tony at Weseloh and/or try MarkS2K on this board. I believe that there were a few early model year S2K's with this issue.
