Good on that guy. HOAs are such F'ing bullsh!t, yet Arizonans have to put up with them everywhere. They really are nothing but money machines and that's it. I told myself I'd avoid them like the plague too, like this guy told himself, and it's nearly impossible in this town. They're everywhere, and they're even retrofitting them into older neighborhoods. I pay over $1200/year for mine, and other places I've looked (that aren't even hoity-toity neighborhoods) are over the $1500 this guy states.

seriously, how are companies like this not sanctioned by... well... whoever does the sanctioning i suppose. lol.
