Close, but not yet. I'm a firefighter. 4 days on, 4 days off. And when I'm "on", we are allowed to use the computer during our down time.
Not a bad deal, good luck on the retirement when it comes.

I figure 20 more years till I retire. I'd like to see the country/world at a leasurly pace that is hard to do when you only get a few weeks off a year.

what does surprise me however is that one would have time to be so active in so many different forums. Unless of course you're retired, or have a very low activity job (loans, insurance...). I wonder if steve C is retired?
I think Steve is retired, sort of. He seems pretty financially well off. He used to live in Seattle then I think he either won a lotto or had made money off of something, then moved to Denver. His wife was studying to be a doctor. In other words, he's pretty rich!

Wow, how do you know so much about stevec? Well, you might be able to explain to me his story about the morgan freeman looking avatar. Are you familiar with the story at all?

Don't know the story. Don't really care. But it might be a really obscure picture of Ray Charles?

Steve told the story behind his avatar a few times when he was still posting on here. It had something to do with a criminal in Colorado or something. I don't recall the details, but for the 1000th time, it's not Morgan Freemen. It's not even close.

In his town they posted pics of ppl who solicit prostitutes (who were under cover cops). That avatar was one guy who got nailed.

I guess the moral of the story is don't pay for sex or if you do let the Jane ask you so it's not entrapment.

Wood working is pretty manly. Better than the other stupid things most kids are doing these days, like myspace.

Guess it's not Ray. I can't see him being a "John".
