I count 12 louvers on the engine cover and it has an arched hood and windshield, and 12-spoke wheels. But, plain fenders and it looks like an interesting arch on the top of the windshield.

Spoke count on that car is different, but caddies also ran 12 spoke wooden wheels in various trim.

That Hups looks close too though. For reasons related to the louvers I'm sticking with a type 57 or maybe even a 55. Caddies were rare back then, Ford was selling 800+ cars a year back then while Cadillac was lucky to see 20-30k a year, well behind just about everyone including many names that simply don't exist anymore.

It's too bad we can't see what side the steering wheel is on.

*edit found a cadillac site that mentions the 57's went to 25 vertical hood louvers in 1919.

It's very interesting how cars from different manufacturers so closely resembled each other. Just glancing at various photos, I find it very difficult to tell, for instance, a Cadillac and a Hupmobile apart.

I asked my father if he could find a better picture of it, but he doesn't think that he can.

Thanks for all of your help
