A few observations...
1) Those are carbon based rotors, no? (As opposed to Porsche's ceramic, and the typical iron...)
2) Does anybody else find the little nipple-like side marker a bit odd?
3) The caliper could have been placed for any number of reasons. Spedulation would be lower center of gravity, air flow for cooling, suspension arm design, ease of pad replacement, etc. etc.

You think that is crazy. The new 575M GTC package will outfit the 575M with 15.7 in front, 14.2 in rears carbon ceramic rotors ! That is bigger than most aftermarket kits that I have seen. I thought 15" were big...I guess not.
