I got an Internet price of 17.4K How good a price is that? I know the si not the fastest
but I really like the hatchback.

I think most people have been able to find them in the high $15K/low $16K range. They're not a hot seller (miserable, really) so you should get a great deal on them. $17.4K out the door is a good price. $17.4K before TTL is not a great deal. It's not bad (right around invoice, I think) but not great either.

I imagine it may have something to do with the fact that the much sexier base RSX is just $1000 more...and with the same engine, same company, marginally lighter, etc.

Is the '05 the same as the current one, or the new upcoming one? I'm too lazy to do a search.

Current design with the 160 hp 2.0 liter i-VTEC motor and "dash mounted" shifter.

Kinda looks like a gimpy egg.

I picked up a new '02 back in December of 2002, when the Si was EXTREMELY unpopular. I got it for $15,200.

I assume they have gained popularity a bit since then. I like the newer look even better.

For the record, I loved the car. Thought it was an awesome car, especially for the price. Very solid.

Unfortunately I needed more space for my business and traded it on an Element.

Hey ElTianti, didn't you use to pitch for the Red Sox? Sorry to see you are reduced to web whorring and Civics.
