There is a "RS" model that is cheaper. It has a front lsd diff and in general is stripped down. Supposedly there will only be 700 of those.... red and white are the only colors available.........You can get "the urban package" for an additional $1700 which includes the a/c, power windows, etc....... so you still end up with the front diff and slightly less weight.

Mitsu probably is voiding warranties at the same rate as Ford on the Cobra's and Lightnings....... Just because a few people got their warranties voided due to racing the car doesn't mean they are voiding everyone's...........(watch they will call me to tell me my warranty if voided now. )

I have seen new Evo's as low as about $25k on ebay...... that is an awesome deal at that price.... that makes my 11k mileage version worth a good bit less.........

did i mention that I have had NO PROBLEMS with my car in 11k miles other than an intake hose popped off a few times (the first was mitsu's fault....the next 2 were mine due to not putting it on properly).

I was originally going to get an Evo instead of my S, but the salesperson I dealt with pulled so much shit out of his ass, I just went to Honda.

Guy first wanted me to pay somewhere around 31k for the car.

Then he said that there were no '04s coming in.

Then he said that even if I wanted one, that he would have to get one from another dealer, because there were only 2-3 left in South Florida.

What a joke.

Ths RS models are great for track but non-practical for daily driving. They strip out the stereo, speakers, wing, HIDs, sunroof, even the HVAC!

Even the MR that's planned for the states release is still only supposed to run 280bhp....not like the 337 MR-FQs in Europe and Australia.

I'd get an RS but it doesn't have anti-lock brakes. I really think that ABS should have been left on there, maybe with a toggle switch. All the other options like A/C, stereo, etc... Pah.
