Honestly, for transport, get the Corolla. It won't have been riced or ragged out nearly as much as a Civic would have, it's just as reliable (arguably more reliable), and it'll probably be cheaper for the same model year.

Heck, get a Geo Prizm - it's a Corolla with a GM badge and it'll save you even more money. The mechanicals are bulletproof.

+1 for corolla. i have one for my daily beater. no need to worry about ricers stealing your stuff and its dirt cheap to maintain. i am willing to say it is more reliable than a civic. it is roomier than civic and integ and has 4 doors incase you need it.

are there even any integras left not on salvage title from theft?

I just bought a '99 DC2 Integra coupe w/ 53K mi myself. Perfect if you bike because you can fit a road bike in there w/o taking off the front wheel. I get 30MPG on 50/50 highway and around town driving. Highly recommended. The only thing I don't like is it has very poor ergonomic interior, particularly the radio. I might actually replace it if I find a good deal on DC5

Corolla definitely. Don't buy a car like an integra for a DD that you'll be tempted to mod.

I suppose it's not really funny, especially for those that know someone personally...but from the outside it made me chuckle.
