Good 4-Seater?
What kind of car could I look for (used) that would cost $20,000 at the most give or take a few that has a reasonable amount of power and could take more people (coupe or sedan, its's just gotta look cool! ) I've been looking at the Lexus IS300 and a few others, does anyone have any ideas...?
This would just work better because the car I get will be my only car and daily driver every single day. I just need a fun car that is a little more practical...

Hey, spazzy. I was in the same situation a few months ago with the exception that I wasn't considering any coupes. Also, I really didn't want to go over $20k, and was trying to find something $15k-17k range if at all possible.
I considered the following vehicles (in no particular order):
1) Focus SVT
2) Lexus IS300
3) E46 BMW 325i & 328i
4) E36 BMW M3
5) Acura TL Type-S
6) Dodge SRT-4
7) Previous generation Nissan Maxima
8) Infiniti I35 (pretty much a more luxurious and better looking Maxima)
9) Honda Accord
10) WRX
11) Lexus GS300/400
12) Some others I have forgotten...
I also considered this:
Obviously, this is what I ended up with. It's a 2000 Saab 9-3 Viggen that I purchased in flawless condition for $17,000, with only 30k miles. It ended up being the perfect fit for me and my wife (fast, sporty, attractive, comfortable, practical [huge trunk and hatchback configuration], unique, luxurious, and fun). It's certainly not for everyone, but I highly recommend checking it out. In addition, I also recommend checking out these cars that I haven't yet seen mentioned:
Used
*Acura TSX
*E39 5 Series
*Infiniti G35 sedan
*Audi A4
New
*Mazda3
*Mazda6
Good luck! Let us know what you find...

Thanks for all the replies
I can't believe I didn't think of this earlier...A Supra...
Does anyone have reliable info on this bad boy? Like how long would it last (It will more than likely be the non-turbo), its reliability, what all could be done to it later on down the road, etc...If I bought one with say, 80,000 miles on it...how much longer do you think it could last (mileage)?
Thanks in advance!
