i am man enough to admit when i am wrong. AMS stands at 993whp. the others you mentioned are the same ones i was thinking of. so for that i'll admit i am wrong. BUT 993whp on the stock block is still a shitload of power on OEM block.

the fact still remains that EVOs on the whole have been very reliable as long as they are taken car of.

Its not Stock Block. I know Eric and Mark (work at Ams) And Nothing in that Car is Stock. Only the Frame.

I was thinking about making the trade myself, also.

But I can't bring myself to trade an S2000 for a lancer. I really don't care about staight line speed anymore- what does it prove? Whoever spends the most money into their car wins.

Damn, this thread went from 0 to 60 faster than, well, an Evo!!

Seriously though, what kind of response are you looking for? You are tellling a bunch of rabid S2000 fanatics that you are switching to an Evo. Were you expecting people to chime in with "Yeah, I wish I got the Evo instead" posts? Don't take the flames personally though, you'll be welcomed with open arms over there in the Evo forums.
