I'm going to trade my S for a 2003 Evo by end of this month...I'm tired of being SPANKED by so many cars out there (yes i said it), it's not even funny any more....Yes, the S has great handling, looks better, reliability, etc...But the Evo has speed, handling, safety, braking, etc... (fugly stock but not for long). Looking good in a car goes straight to the trash can when you got smoked...With some light mods, the evo can harness 400 AWHP...that should be sufficient to smoke anything on the street...I'm sure this post has been posted hundreds of time here...this won't be the last...will post pics and info soon...I know alot of S owners had abandoned the S for an AWD turbo.

what's up with all the negativity?? I'm a BIG s2000 FAN...FUGLY STOCK but after what i done to it, it will be the best looking EVO you'll see...wait for pics...

EVO won in every category according to many magazine in term of acceleration, braking, handling. Top Gear compared the two and the evo won hands down...They even compared the FQ400 evo (400hp) with a LAMBORGHINI MURCIELAGO on the track...the lambo couldn't even pull away...EVO has BETTER braking distance than an ENZO ferarri...just some facts.

 

Hmmm...I would take a few driving classes instead. I have YET to lose to a stock Evo. Most of these young thundercats with daddy's money rolling around in M3s, S4s, etc, dont know how to drive. Thats why you see "I raped an m3 last night." One of my friends had an E46 m3 and an now has the V8 S4. He cant beat me in either car. Does it mean the s2000 is faster? Of course not, but driver is what counts.
