Default GM's "Roadster" For Sale Cheap

A "roadster" based on the Chevy Trailblazer chassis?

And pity the poor folks who paid top dollar for the earlier, wimpy-powered version

WOW no kidding it's limited edition since no one will buy them.

Actually that price doesn't sound too bad...

So they kill the Camaro because of low sales volume -- then they replace it with this 50k neither here nor there truck/car/ugly thing that sells even fewer units per year.

Riiight.

For what its worth if you read the ad it says 3 available at this price --- and looks like a dealer trick to get bodies into the showroom --- almost but not quite bait and switch.

I've seen ONE of these on the road. I wonder if it'll be a collector's item?

With the 390hp LS2 and six-speed manual, plus retractable hardtop, it can't be THAT bad of a ride for $35k.

Will I buy one?

Nope.

Funny. I see them fairly often here. Not every day mind you, but there are quite a few from my experience.

Not here, it seems that I see them several times every day.

I've seen a few around. I thought MSRP was 39k though, so it looks like the dealer is finally coming down in price. Probably has Solstices on the lot for 45k too..

I never really understood what market GM was after with that vehicle. It almost like they thought, "Let's build something wierd and see if anyone buys it." Guess not.

A 5,000 lb roadster... isn't that an oxymoron?
