GM's new attempt on Hybrid-Electric car
OR, will it have the same fate as GM's EV1? Your thoughts? Your Predictions?

Lutz, he's such a pitch-man. I'll wait to see it myself 150 MPG.
I think this is funny :
[QUOTE]Mr. Lutz has questioned the existence of global warming. And Mr. Lutz does not appear quite ready to cut back on his own carbon footprint.
He still owns two fighter jets

^ no shit. I personally would like a Hellcat and a MIG 21, probably never have either, but I'm not going to dog on someone because the things they enjoy happen to burn something. The man obviously can only fly one plane at a time, so what difference does it make if he owns one or a thousand?

One you can see? No civilian should even own one. But money rules the world.
If someone wants a fighter jet, he should damn sure be able to buy one if he wants.
Note that these "fighter jets" are disarmed.

Its pretty difficult to make an argument for UAW concessions when you personally own more military aircraft than the Honduran air force, but they will give it a shot.

I'll take a F4-U Corsair and a F-8 Crusader (such a pretty plane).
Anyway, Electric cars are all about the energy density of batteries. They're getting better but it's still not so great.
Still if could make 40 miles on a charge, a lot of people wouldn't need to buy any (or much) gas, except when driving to Mom's for Thanksgiving.
