As others have stated, it will be here, it's a Buick.

Problem is it can get up to 40k...

Another fat pig sedan, at least with the G8 it was a big fat pig with a big assed V8 out front.... this is just a fat pig.

Good looking car. Of course we won't get it here. American parent companies like to offer their best products everywhere BUT America.

Vauxhall already offers the VXR8 with a 425-hp 6.2-liter V8, the muscle car equivalent of our 2009 Pontiac G8 GXP, and it seeks to make up for in bravado what it lacks in sophistication. The Insignia is different. This car is at the vanguard of GM's global product offensive and is supposed to compete technologically and philosophically with the best of the here and now. It is supposed to be a sophisticated product to tempt Europeans away from the premium German alternatives like the Audi A4 and BMW 335i.

IMO, the Buick version is trying way too hard to be Japanese.

What does that have to do with it being a fat pig? I never said it wasn't sophisticated, which it isn't with all that "LOOK AT ME I'VE GOT A FAKE-CHROME STEERING WHEEL" I said it was a fat pig, which it is.

It's the size and weight of a 5 series, marketed at the 3 series which it will under cut by thousands. It's sophisticated like Jack In the Box. Yes, it's bigger and cheaper. And yes you can get it in sirloin (maybe, if they bring the Insignia XFR over, otherwise it's just normal ground beef Insignia). And no, it's not filet mignon even if sirloin does connect with the tenderloin on the cow.

The new Buick regal is supposed to start at 28k, slotting in below the lacrosse. Which starts at 27k for the '10 model. Both of which are GM's most premium sedans. What about Cadillac? CTS base 36k, STS and DTS base 46k. I'm confused....

Calm down.

I was merely pointing out the fact that they had a version of the GXP by quoting the article.
