Bad choices.

Why the super special cobalt?? They sold more of those than the rest on the list. It is the best in its class. Not that I would buy one but its one less everyday sport car for us.

The 'important' ones get to live? And how many people can buy those??

well im no expert and dont have the statistics infront of me but i sure as hell see alot more cobalt SSs than i do 'important' cars lol

maybe thats why GM fails so much.. they focus on making profits on 'important' cars... like the ZR1

on a note for them, i saw my first CTS-V today.. how long has it been out for again?

Good riddance to the automatic-only, FWD G6 GXP and Impala SS. Resales indicate people might actually be interested in something like a 94-96 SS. Oh well.

lol @ they even made the STS-V... $80k for this

I read they were phasing out the Cobalt SS coupe, but not as fast as the sedan.

GM reaffirmed that the CTS-V is here to stay. They said they've accounted for 1/4 of the CTS sales so far. I cant tell if thats a good thing or not. I'm not sure how many CTS cars were sold.

you guys miss the point of a lot these cars. the TQ and speed and feel they give the driver is just nuts. how many of you have actually driven the new cts-v. that thing handles great and is a beast in the straight line.
cobalt ss is just an american civic...it sucks just like the japnese civic

I think the cobalt ss is a really good bang for your buck car. IMO it's on an entirely different level than the civic though.

And it's faster, too, which shouldn't matter to the regular driver/buyer, but... Hey, it still had some sort of bragging rights, right?
