I went to a dealership today, well originally for an oil change for my wife's Civic SI.
Inside the showroom were 3 S2k's, a lighter silver, a suzuka blue and a black one. I've seen them in the showroom before, but pictures don't do the car justice, it really is a pretty car.
If I didn't have more sense, I would have drove home with one, but financially, I'm not quite ready to buy just yet. DAMN
Before you bought your S2k, did they let you test drive it? In the dealership they had signs on the car "please do not touch." I just get the impression they don't want anyone driving the car, plus they are always inside the showroom.

My dealer allowed test drives only on used S2000's.
Its hard to guage impressions from 1 test drive. Even after a year of ownership, my appreciation of the car is still growing.

haha! j/k.
well, i know a lot of people who test drove s2000s,
then there are dealers that are never gonna let you even touch the car.
hmm... i guess you should call other honda dealers around you to see if they will let you.

Sorry, is the whole S2k community not in touch with their inner feelings? :-) I'll remember that. Pretty doesn't necessarily mean "girly." Sorry owners, I didn't mean to challenge your manhood. hee hee
Now if I said, "cute" I could understand a little more.
The car was bad ass, is that better? Well in terms of colors, my wife said the suzuka blue color was more her type, so maybe that is a "cute" color.
The black, was definately bad ass.

If a dealer won't let you test drive the car just go to another dealer. I e-mailed a dealer in the portland area last may and said I wanted to drive one...and did it that day. I bought the car two days later!! The dealer actually ended up driving 60 miles or so to another dealer just to get me a yellow one because at the time they were very hard to find. Anyway, to sum it up: no test drive == no buy!!

I didn't push, but I didn't because I knew I wasn't ready. Perhaps they will let me test drive when the time comes. I think for now I will stick with my original plan.
I will rent an S2k for a day in Las Vegas. I can try it, have fun, and not get any pressure to buy it right away.
Plus they didn't have any Spa yellow's. That is my favorite color.
