Gen 3 Dodge Viper
#15
Funny enough I think the S2000 and Viper have quite a bit in common:
Started life as a roadster (the S remained one, while the Viper did later add the coupe)
2-seater
Minimal creature comforts, little to no options
Driver focused, outstanding seating
Few electronic assists (though the Viper did add ABS and the later gen S did add TC)
Manual (6-speed) tranny only
Motor unique to the model (though the V10 was later shared with the SRT truck)
No model variants in terms of performance (only a slight difference roadster vs. coupe)
They even favor each other
I think they both come from the same place in terms of "soul", even though the Viper is obviously pretty polar opposite in terms of how/where it makes its power.

The Viper motor is about the same but in the opposite direction. The original was all about torque. Not much in the way of revs but the idea was motor with car around it. The later motors of course gained power and revs but the idea was still silly big motor with free car included.
You have to love both for their own forms of purity.
