just wondering if you guys can help me out here.

i was thinking of trading in my ram srt10 and getting a g55 amg.

i like the ram alot...but with the g, i can seat more people and go just as fast.

i love the g55 amg...awsome car imo...off roading capability for the day and ultra lux crusier during the night

imo the ram srt10 is just bleh...first sry but it's a dodge, second whats it's purpose? sure it goes damn fast, but the g55 seems more practical (& classy vs. blue collar)

G55 is probably one of the most versatile cars you can get....roam the mountains and then check in to a fancy 5 star hotel (valet of course)

oh and it's pretty fast too

Why you need to go so fast in a truck or SUV? IMO they're compromised vehicles for going fast.

Also what's the price differential to trade up to a G55? I bet you're looking at double the price of a SRT so for the same $$ couldn't you keep the SRT and get a LS430 or cts-v?

yes it is double...the g55 would be a treat for myself.

i really do not like big cars like lexus or mercs(cl,s-class etc...)



well i have pretty much made up my mind the only thing keeping me back is that its a cool asp truck(and thats about it).

I agree with rai. Both trucks are lame, IMO. Sure, both have power, but you can't use it in anything but a straight line (and even then it's probably not that safe). For the $$$ of the G (guessing that turd costs about $90K), I'd get a 300C SRT8 and a Z51 Vette. Or, an A6 Avant and a Boxster S. Or, an S2000 and a XJ8 LWB. Etc., etc. Performance and trucks go together like oil and vinegar. Of course, it's your it's your $90K (or whatever), and you're free to buy anything you'd like, but you asked for opinions...

The G55 is awesome. One of our friends traded in his Range Rover on one last year, and he loves it. He takes it off road too, so it's not just a boulevard cruiser.

He also has an SL55 and an S500, so I guess he likes Mercedes

Sell me the SRT10 Ram if its the 4 door version. Buy the G55.
