[QUOTE=Onehots2k,Mar 19 2008, 03:43 PM] I dont know man. They already have the mules running around for months now.
More info: [B]According to the source, the new car will feature a front-mounted V10 engine with a pair of turbochargers bolted on. The motor will be built from a completely new design and include an Infineon ECU developed by BMW

I don't care for 800000HP quadruple turbo cars weghing 5000 pounds.
I do care for an individual throttle body V10 engine that spins to 8400RPMs.
I think the M5-M6 are perfectly fine and insane enough for everyday use.
Do we need 700HP to drop the kids off at school before going to work?

more hp, that's exactly what is needed.
In the other corner you have BMW-AUDI-MERCEDES-PORSHCE and now Nissan going at horsepower wars.
If the S2000 has 300+HP and still weighed under 3000 pounds...I mean if Chevy can pull off 500HP and keep the Z06 weight under 3100 pounds....

v10 reving to 10k rpm is kewl but i rather have the whole package of a TRUE sports car. light weight that can perform like F1 series race cars. i think ALL vehicle menufactures are forgetting the meaning of true race cars which is a light weight, high performance race car. it really doesn't matter m5 or m6 can rev up to 10k rpm if it weights 4000+ pounds. bmw m should stick with light weight high performance race car right off the assembly line or hand built line.

while it does seem like honda is standing still. i wouldn't say rot. i think the s2k is plenty fast for REAL life. so maybe honda is just being real while everyone else is selling "race" cars to wannabes and soccer moms. hmm, seems like that deserves it's own thread.
